Yorkshire Rider Leeds 8601 K601 HUG

This Scania N113 Alexander Strider is a wonderful looking bus , it with a new owner now the keep her life going on sadly I didn't get a ride on it this time maybe next time I've been talking to the new owner he really thankful for the pictures i got, hope to see it at bus rally's to come - everybody was looking for it as it was the star of the show , hope the new owner is liking his new bus , I did also see the old owner out and about did get talking then I when and got a bus up to the bus museum and didn't see much I wanted so when about 5/10 minutes down road to get 8601 in a lovely shot with a really good friend ( 6228 Leeds ) then we waited for it to come around the corner. the history on the bus from the new owner ( new to Yorkshire Rider Halifax but after a couple of months moved to Rider LEEDS. It was withdrawn from Hunslet Park depot I believe in 2009) Note he only had her nearly a year before that she was parked :)

1807 Birthday Party at Optare Sherburn

Here we all see a great little bus called the Solo SR, it was shown at the NEC on Wednesday 30th September but I didn't see it till 1st October 2015 witch it still as the registration ( Solo ) so still doesn't have one yet but should be soon and an16 plate , now here's why we was at the Optare factory it's was a birthday party for 1807 C807 KBT Layland Cub CU435 Optare but sadly wasn't there but we did get a sorry from the owner and then when on and had a talk and a show around the factory , and other talks about how the bus is built and PDI , also saw a Blue Metrodecker Demo witch had Blue leather seats and blue floor should be out in about 4 weeks, A massive thanks to the team at Optare who gave there own time up to do the tour and a thanks to James the owner of 1807 , big thanks for the invite

Longstaff Demo

Here's a special demo for Longstaff of Batley it's been with the company since Friday 26th February 2016 and been seen on AL6 school bus , then it's been used on the 205 Mirfield / Dewsbury, I've been on 3 times getting to know the driver who had it the most had feedback off him ( he said it drives beautiful , fuel is great ) passengers feedback was great on it aswell ( lovely seats , nice looking ) only thing what I've been getting back is there's not a lot of bells for the passengers only 6 on a 44 seater should be at least about 12 as the route it does gets a lot of OAPs on , that's who was asking about bells ( a lot asked where my blue bus - driver said its a demonstrator, then he told me a lot of them though Yorkshire Tiger taken over Longstaff ) if the demonstrators goes great for the week he as it he might keep it longer as Optare doesn't have plans for it next week ( going to have to wait and find out ) but on Saturday 27th February 2016 it was out till 14:50 then had to go to the depot as the driver who was on next bit couldn't drive it , so I rang up to see where it was and the person on phone said there's a new bus on order ( I asked which bus ) he said my son does the orders and I don't know ( still waiting to find out ) as Optare as loaned them this lovely Metrocity I think it may be a Optare bus on order / The new bus on order will replace FD02 SEO As the gearbox is really bad  other things aswell and now only being used on schools and not the 205
